Knives Out (2019)

Knives Out is a murder mystery in which the crime is an afterthought. It is the story of a wealthy family whose patriarch dies under odd circumstances that lead to questions from the police and a famous sleuth. The movie isn’t about the crime, but more about the characters, who are all played brilliantly. The movie is a rollercoaster ride of thinking you know what is happening and then being proven wrong. Rarely does a movie surprise me, but Knives Out did. I can’t say anything else besides the fact that the actors were perfectly cast without spoiling anything, so I will cut this review short. I loved Knives Out and give it 1 out of 1 surprising Gary Tanguay appearance.
