Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

Avengers: Infinity War was immense and superior. It had so many characters, but it gave each of them a moment. It was so good, but why would you bring a 4 year old to a PG-13 movie on opening night when they don't understand any of the story? For such a dense narrative, the Russos crafted a near flawless movie. The movie followed three groups of heroes in various settings, facing their own challenges, but it was coherent and everything was important. There were no "casino planet" scenes that felt like a waste. Speaking of waste, why do people waste their money to go see a movie on opening night when they don't know the characters and have to keep asking "who is that? Is that Captain America?" Thanos is far and away the best villain in the MCU. He blew Killmonger out of the water. Thanos is given plenty of screen time to establish his presence, authority, and ambition. I'm not going to lie, I kind of agree with his goals. The interactions between Thanos and any other character were flawless and Josh Brolin was at his best. It totally made up for the tragedy that was Jonah Hex. Jonah Hex was a truly terrible movie, but why can't people not talk for two and a half hours? Is it really that hard? Avengers: Infinity War makes Justice League seem laughably bad. JL failed in so many ways that Infinity War absolutely nailed. I can't really say much more without ruining the movie, but be prepared for a hell of a ride. Avengers: Infinity War earns all six infinity stones.
I strongly recommend going to see this movie. I am willing to put money down that it is a better movie than anything that will be nominated for an Oscar for 2018. I can't wait to see how much money it makes. My prediction: Avengers: Infinity Dollars.
