Chappaquiddick (2018)

I saw Chappaquiddick yesterday and here is my late and short review. It was a presumptive historical movie that took liberties with what is unknown. The acting was fine and I was hoping for some terrible Boston accents, but none were offensive, which was disappointing. I love over the top Boston accents from side characters, like in Patriots Day, but everybody in Chappaquiddick was at least sort of competent. It was slow and frustrating. It should have just been called “How to Get Away with Murder: Rich White Guy Edition”. It wasn’t worth my time. I give Chappaquiddick 3 out of 10 hours waiting to report an accident resulting in a fatality.
