All the Money in the World (2017)

I watched All the Money in the World today and now I just want to be super rich. JP Getty was such a miser who wouldn’t spend anything unless there was a tax loophole and he accumulated so much wealth and pointless stuff like art that he didn’t have fun. He was super lame and a total douche. With that description, they probably could have left Kevin Spacey in the movie. Just kidding, Spacey is a sketchy pedophile and Plummer was excellent as Getty. The whole movie was very well acted but was a little long. Pushing 2.5 hours for something that took me 10 minutes to read about on Wikipedia was a bit much. Also, if you are familiar with the story, there is very little tension. 10 minutes on the internet after the first trailer ruined this movie for me. I liked it, but did not love it because it didn’t stray too much from the truth, so I knew everything that was coming. The acting is what kept me involved and it was probably Mark Wahlberg’s best performance. If you plan on seeing it, don’t research beforehand or else you will ruin it. I give All the Money in the World to me. Haha. I’m hilarious. But seriously, I give it 11 million out of a 17 million dollar ransom.
